Embassy of Russia expresses condolences on passing of Ethiopian singer Madingo Afework

Addis Ababa, September 28, 2022 (FBC) – Embassy of Russia in Addis Ababa expressed deepest condolence on passing away of the outstanding Ethiopian singer Madingo Afework.

“He was not only a talented artist, but also a true patriot of his country. His work helped to strengthen the spirit of soldiers who were defending Ethiopia from its adversaries,” the Embassy said.

The Embassy described Madingo as an inspiration and pride of the nation. “Madingo’s decease is a great untimely loss for the people of Ethiopia,” the Embassy added.
