Enormous preparations undertaken to make Ethiopia a chosen destination for int’l investors: Officials
Addis Ababa, March 2, 2022 (FBC) – High level Government officials briefed investors and company representatives from various corners of the world on flourishing opportunities in the investment, trade and tourism sectors in Ethiopia on the margins of Expo 2020 Dubai.
The briefing made by Ethiopian officials was focused on the enormous preparations undertaken so far in line with policies and strategies put in place by the government in order to attract more international investors and create conducive investment climate in the country.
Ongoing homegrown reforms being implemented in various areas and planned endeavors aimed to realize favorable atmosphere for foreign direct investment were also thoroughly discussed on the briefing platform. Participants also visited the Ethiopian pavilion where Ethiopian products and services are being displayed.

The Industry Minister, Melaku Alebel stated that investors from different countries show interest to invest in Ethiopia particularly in the manufacturing industry sector.
Ministers of the Trade, Tourism, Culture and Sports and Industry Ministerial institutions of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Ambassadors, and investors from several countries of the world and high officials from United Arab Emirates have attended the briefing session.
