Envoy confers with Asst. Sec Molly Phee, Special Envoy Mike Hammer on latest issues

Addis Ababa, February 1, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to the USA, Seleshi Bekele held talks with Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Molly Phee on the progresses of peace agreement signed between the federal government and the TPLF and its implementation.

The two have also exchanged views on economic development and remaining challenges in Ethiopia.

Furthermore, Ambassador Seleshi Bekele conferred with Ambassador Mike Hammer, US Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa on progress of negotiation on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
