Envoy encourages Qatari business people to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, March 31, 2021 (FBC) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Qatar, Samia Zekaria said her country has become an ideal investment destination for Qatari investors.

Ambassador Samia reiterated that Qatari investors have shown an increasing interest to invest in Ethiopia, and added that Ethiopia’s high-quality and fresh agricultural products are making their way to the Qatari market.

Ethiopia’s proximity to the Middle East region, the country’s fast-growing economy, and the availability of productive workforce make an ideal basis for a strong Ethio-Qatar economic relation, she added.

She added that the ample business incentives in Ethiopia which are being facilitated by the government calling Qatari business men and women to tap this untapped opportunities.
