Envoy pledges to work hard to enhance scope of Ethiopia, UAE cooperation

Addis Ababa, March 21, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s newly appointed ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Oumer Hussien, has pledged that he is ready to work hard to expand the scope and depth of cooperation between Ethiopia and UAE.

Ambassador Oumer presented a copy of his credential letter to Saif Abdullah Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) of UAE.

While meeting the UAE Assistant Undersecretary, Ambassador Omar stated that he would work hard to expand the scope and depth of cooperation between UAE and Ethiopia.

“As I start my assignment in the friendly nation of UAE, I look forward to working together on further enhancing our bilateral ties in all fields and building on the existing robust partnership between Ethiopia and UAE”, the Ambassador tweeted.

Ethiopia and UAE have enjoyed historical relations for more than two decades.
