Eritrean senior military officers, generals visit EAII

Addis Ababa, April 3, 2023 (FBC) – Eritrean military generals and senior military officers visited the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute (EAII).

The Eritrean military officers and generals have visited EAII’s artificial intelligence technology infrastructure capacities and the ongoing research and development activities.

EAII Director General, Worku Gachena, briefed the Eritrean military delegates regarding the socially and economically important research and development activities being carried out by the Institute.

General Abreha Kasa, the coordinator of the Eritrean military delegates, said that their visit to the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute was a great experience for their country.

The General pointed out that after their tour of EAII, he and fellow delegates realized that there is a potential for Ethiopia and Eritrea to work together in the field of technology.
