Ethiopia, Algeria renew commitment to elevate bilateral relations, cooperation

Addis Ababa, August 8, 2022 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde attended the closing ceremony of 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran City of Algeria.

President Sahle-Work received a warm welcome from President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune upon her arrival in the country.

The two presidents exchanged views on how to deepen bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Algeria. The two further agreed to elevate the longstanding ties and cooperation between the two nations.

“The Algerian liberation struggle against the yoke of colonialism is a historic moment and exemplary for others,” the President noted.
