Ethiopia and Kenya agree to share best practices on oversea labor

Addis Ababa, April 19, 2022 (FBC) – State Minister of Labor and Skills of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Nigussu Tilahun, paid a courtesy call to his Kenyan counterpart, Peter K.Tum today in Nairobi.

Both sides have agreed to share best benchmarks on tapping overseas employment opportunities.

In related story, Mr. Gokul Prem Kumar, Vice President of Mediheal group of hospitals met with H.E. Meles Alem Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on Tuesday.

On the occasion, Gokul Prem Kumar, said Ethiopia can serve as an ideal hub for medical tourism in the East Africa sub-region because of its location and connectivity through Ethiopian Airlines.

Ambassador Meles on his part, briefed the team about opportunities in the health sector and invited Mediheal to pay a field visit to explore the wide opportunities in Ethiopia.
