Ethiopia celebrates 16th African Youth Month in Arba-Minch University
Addis Ababa, November 10, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia celebrated the 16th African Youth Month in Arba-Minch University under the theme “Breaking the Barriers to Meaningful Youth Participation and Inclusion in Advocacy”.
According to Kura Jemaneh, head of the youth participation and organization capacity building desk of the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, a document titled “Education and Youth Compassion” was presented and discussed on the occasion.
He mentioned that young people should play their role in the forefront to increase their participation. The support of stakeholders is crucial to realize this aspiration.
The event was attended by the Minister of Women and Social Affairs, Ergoge Tesfaye, and the Minister of Education, Prof. Birhanu Nega.
The 16th African Youth Day event was organized by the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs in collaboration with Arba-Minch University.
