Ethiopia, China discuss projects under Belt and Road Initiative

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to China, Teshome Toga held discussions with Gao Jian, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on various issues of mutual concern.

The two exchanged views on the status of projects being carried out under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

On the occasion, Ambassador Teshome underlined that BRI is a global initiative focusing on inter connectivity aligned with Ethiopia’s Championship role in promoting infrastructure connectivity in the Horn of Africa.
