Ethiopia, Denmark discuss cooperation on energy, climate change
Addis Ababa, 6 March 2024 (FBC) – State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga received at his office the Ambassador of Denmark to Ethiopia, Kira Smith Sindbjerg.
The two have exchanged view on bilateral and regional and global issues of mutual concern.
Ambassador Mesganu assured Ambassador Kira Smith Sindbjerg of Ethiopia’s commitment to strengthen its cooperation with Denmark in the areas of energy, climate change and capacity building.
Ambassador Mesganu also welcomed the planned visit of the Foreign Minister of Denmark H.E. Lars Løkke Rasmussen to Ethiopia.
The Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade is expected to talk with Ethiopian authorities about ways to promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation on matters of shared concern while he is in the country.
