Ethiopia earns $2.1bln from export in 6 months

Addis Ababa, March 29, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Trade and Industry said that it has collected revenue worth 2.1 billion USD from export commodities during the last half year.

It is indicated that the ministry planned to collect 2.55 billion USD and achieved 82pct of its plan by amassing 2.1 US Dollars during first half of the current Ethiopian fiscal year.

The revenue has shown 16pct increase compared to what was earned in the same period of previous fiscal year, the Ministry said.
