Ethiopia elected as one of eight digital transformation hubs in Africa

Addis Ababa, May 9, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia has been elected as one of eight digital transformation hubs in Africa, according to Minister of Innovation and Technology.

The Innovation and Technology stated that various digital transformation centers are to be established in various parts of Ethiopia with a view to produce skilled workforce in the sector.

The centers the Ministry will build in partnership with International Telecommunication Union will be equipped with facilities such as science cafes and youth centers.

State Minister of Innovation and Technology Ministry, Huria Ali noted that the digital transformation hubs to produce competent workforce in the digital sector at fundamental, medium and high levels.
