Ethiopia, Germany to enhance collaboration in electricity sector

Addis Ababa, August 24, 2020 (FBC) – Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy, Dr. Sileshi Bekele held talks with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany, Stephan Christian Auer at his office today.

During their discussion, the two focused on ways of deepening relations between the two nations especially in the energy sector.

They have explored areas of cooperation so as to further intensify joint efforts to boost Ethiopia’s electricity sector.

The German Ambassador to Ethiopia, Stephan Christian Auer pledged support to expand Ethiopia’s energy capacity.
