Ethiopia, Heilongjiang Province of China mull over cooperation in trade, investment sectors

Addis Ababa, August 16, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Ambassador in China, Ambassador Teshome Toga, made a two-day working visit to Northern China’s Heilongjiang Province from August 10–12, 2022.

The visit is aimed at laying the foundation work for trade and investment, people-to-people ties, scholarship programs, partnerships at the provincial city and higher educational institution levels, and other related areas between Ethiopia and Heilongjiang.

During the visit, Ambassador Teshome met and held bilateral discussions with Wang Yixin, Vice Governor of Heilongjiang Province; Guo Shunmin, Vice Mayor of Harbin City; Wu Wenge, Director-General of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; and other high officials.

On the margins of the visit, the Ambassador also attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 World 5G Convention as a guest of honor.
