Ethiopia, Indonesia celebrate 60th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations
Addis Ababa, June 20, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Embassy in Jakarta and Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry have celebrated 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries with various events including panel discussions and photo exhibitions.
Ethiopian Ambassador to Indonesia, Dr. Admasu Tsegaye and Deputy Director for African Affairs in the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Indonesia, Evita Chaesara launched the photo exhibition held to commemorate the 60th Anniversary establishment of diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
During the event the Embassy staff have reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and also underlined the future directions to take the relations to a higher level. Evita Chaesara, Deputy Director for African Affairs also gave extensive presentation reviewing the bilateral relations between Africa and Indonesia and the future focus areas.
More than 40 university students from 8 Indonesian universities participated in the panel discussions and photo exhibition on the event.
The Ethiopia- Indonesia Youth Forum is one of a series of events organized by the Ethiopian Embassy to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Diplomatic relations between the two countries.
