Ethiopia is bidding farewell to late Professor Mesfin Woldemariam

Addis Ababa, October 6, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopians are bidding farewell to the late politician, academic and human rights activist professor Mesfin Woldemariam at a goodbye event organized in Addis Ababa University.

Colleagues, former students and family members of the late Professor are attending the farewell ceremony at Lidet Hall in Sidist Killo Campus of Addis Ababa University.

The veteran politician, Professor Mesfin Woldemariam died at the age of 90 late Tuesday September 30, 2020 of health complications while receiving medical treatment.

Since then, the nation has been arranging farewell to the late Mesfin through the national funeral committee established for due purpose.

The burial of the body of late Professor will take place from 12:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Cathedral Church in Addis Ababa.

Funeral Ceremony is expected to be attended by high government officials, public figures, his fans, relatives and members of the diplomatic community.
