Ethiopia, Israel explore ways to establish cyberSecurity academy

Addis Ababa, July 14, 2021 (FBC) – Information Network Security Agency (INSA) and the Israel Ministry of Regional Cooperation have explored ways to establish cyberSecurity academy in Ethiopia.

It is to be recalled that Ethiopia and Israel have so far reached an agreement to work together on cyber security sector.

Director General of INSA, Dr. Shumete Gizaw and Director of Israel Ministry of Regional Cooperation Alon Etkin have exchanged view on possibilities to establish the institute.

Director of the International Cyber Cooperation at Israel National Security, Ambassadors of the two countries and experts took part in the discussion.

Besides the establishment of the academy, the agreement covers wide range of areas of cooperation such as capacity building trainings to be offered by the Israeli side.
