Ethiopia, Italy sign over 258m birr financing agreement

Addis Ababa, July 9, 2021 (FBC) -The Ministry of Finance has signed a financing agreement amounting 258.83 million birr with Italy to support on-going projects known as the “Building labor market intermediation” project and the “Women Entrepreneurship Development Project (WEDP)”.

Both projects focus on jobs creation including the provision of financial services for small and women-owned businesses, according to the Ministry of Finance.

Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance, and Arturo Luzzi, Ambassador of Italy in Ethiopia signed agreement on behalf of their respective countries.
