Ethiopia, Kenya agree to reactivate Joint Ministerial, Border Administrators Commission

Addis Ababa, July 19, 2023 (FBC) – Bacha Debele, Ambassador of Ethiopia to Kenya and Permanent Representative to UNEP, UN-Habitat and UN Offices in Nairobi (UNON), conferred with Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, Korir Sing’Oei.

The two sides agreed to further strengthen long-existed bilateral cooperations between the two sisterly countries; more precisely, to reactivate the Joint Ministerial Commission as well as the Joint Border Administrators and Commissioners meetings in the near future.

They also emphasized on the need to enhance collaboration in the areas of political, economic, cultural as well as security sectors.
