Ethiopia launches a Pavilion at the Doha Expo 2023

Addis Ababa, December 14, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga officially opens the Ethiopian Pavilion at the Doha 2023 Expo, an International Horticulture Exhibition organized by the International Bureau of Exhibition in Doha, Qatar.

The official launching ceremony is held with the presence of Mr. Kasahun Gofe, State Minister for Trade and Regional Integration, Dr. Sophia Kasa, State Minister for Agriculture, Amb. Bader bin Omar Al Dafa, Commissioner General for Doha Expo, Mr. Nega Mekwanent, Chairman of the Ethiopian Horticulture Producers and Exporters Association, Doha-based Ambassadors, business people from both Qatar and Ethiopia, and members of the Ethiopian community residing in Doha, Qatar.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Sophia Kasa, State Minister for Agriculture, stated that Ethiopia’s participation at Doha Expo 2023 will have significant role in developing the horticulture sector in a sustainable way through creating opportunities for exchange of experience and technology, per MFA Ethiopia.
