Ethiopia, North Macedonia agree to deepen bilateral relationship

Addis Ababa, October 27, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador Demitu Hambisa has presented her letter of credentials to Stevo Pendarovski, President of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The two sides discussed areas of cooperation to deepen the bilateral relationship and agreed to work closely.

The Ambassador also briefed the president of the Republic of North Macedonia on the current situation in Ethiopia, giving emphasis to the situation in the northern parts of the country.

The Ambassador explained the efforts of the government of Ethiopia towards peaceful resolution of conflicts and the commitment of the Government of Ethiopia towards the peace talks in South Africa.

The president, on his part, appreciated the efforts of the government towards the realization of peace in the country and expressed best wishes for the success of the peace negotiations which has started in South Africa.
