Ethiopia, Norway vow to strengthen partnership in environmental protection

Addis Ababa, November 15, 2022 (FBC) – Norway stated that it will continue to strengthen its partnership and solidarity with Ethiopia in environmental protection and climate change prevention issues.

The Ethiopian Minister of Planning and Development, Fitsum Aseffa, held a discussion with the Norwegian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Stain Christensen.

In their discussion, the Minister appreciated Norway as Ethiopia’s long-term development partner, stating that this partnership should be strengthened in various fields.

She also explained Ethiopia’s strategies and programs it plans for environmental protection and climate change actions.

Ambassador Stein, on his part, expressed his determination that his country will continue to strengthen its partnership and solidarity with Ethiopia in various issues and programs, especially in the areas of environmental protection and climate change prevention.
