Ethiopia receives over 1.9m doses of OCV 

Addis Ababa, April 17, 2023 (FBC) – A consignment of over 1.9 million doses of Oral Cholera Vaccines (OCV) has arrived in Ethiopia.

The Secretariat of the Global Task Force on Cholera Control (GTFCC) through its partners has donated over 1.9 million doses of Oral Cholera Vaccines (OCV) to the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia for its intervention in the prevention and control of cholera in the country.

It is stated that the Oral Cholera Vaccines set to support the ongoing cholera response in Oromia and Somali regions of Ethiopia.
