Ethiopia receives over 500 Monkeypox testing kits from Russia

Addis Ababa, October 4, 2022 (FBC) – The Russian Embassy in Ethiopia handed over 500 monkeypox testing kits to the Ethiopian Public Health Institute.

These testing kits are reportedly manufactured by the Russian State Center for Virology and Biotechnology Research.

According to the Russian embassy, the handover was made between representatives of the Russian Embassy in Ethiopia, Russian Red Cross Balcha Hospital, and the Ethiopian Public Health Institute.
