Ethiopia reiterates continued support to Sudanese nationals fleeing fighting

Addis Ababa, May 18, 2023 (FBC) – The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Meles Alem, delivered the bi-weekly press briefing to Addis-based media corps earlier this morning.

In his briefing, Ambassador Meles, touched upon preparations for the upcoming celebrations of the 60th Anniversary of the AU, where Pan-African values, struggles against colonialism and aspirations for prosperous Africa under the implementation of Agenda 2063 will be highlighted.

He also spoke about the maiden visit of the Vice President of Colombia, Ethiopian High-Level Delegation’s visit to Pakistan led by State Minister Ambassador Mesganu Arga and revitalization of Ethiopia-Pakistani ties.

The Spokesperson further reiterated Ethiopia’s continued support to Sudanese nationals fleeing the fighting.
