Ethiopia reports 561 new cases, 7 deaths from coronavirus

Addis Ababa, July 21, 2020 (FBC) – Ministry of Health confirmed 561 new coronavirus cases out of 6,544 laboratory tests conducted in several centers across the nation over the last day.

Newly reported 7 deaths have brought the fatality from the virus to 180.

Total number of confirmed cases has reached 11, 072 as the new cases surpass 500 mark within a day.

The report from the ministry indicates that 158 patients have recovered from the disease taking total number of recoveries in to 5,448.

Ethiopia has conducted 342,866 laboratory tests since the first case confirmed on March, and now there are 5442 active cases in treatment centers of which 40 patients are in severe conditions.
