Ethiopia-Russia business forum held in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, December 20, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia-Russia Business Forum held in Addis Ababa today with the aim of fostering economic and trade relation between Ethiopia and Russian Federation.

It is indicated that the business forum plays an important role for strengthened cooperation in the investment and business front.

At the event, Deputy Commissioner of Ethiopian Investment Commission, Mr. Daniel Teressa, underlined significance of the forum in attracting more investors from the Russian Federation.

He also shed lights on the tremendous investment potentials in Ethiopia for the Russian investors. Mr. Daniel reiterated the commitment of his government in implementing the policy reforms, incentives and favourable investment climate to facilitate investments.

Representatives of Russian enterprises, on their part, expressed keen interest in investing in Ethiopia. They also presented their project plans in energy, mining, manufacturing, and other sectors.
