Ethiopia, Russia discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of education

Addis Ababa, January 22, 2024 (FBC) – The Ministry of Education, Professor Birhanu Nega and Deputy Minister of Education of Russian Federation, Denis Gribov discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between their two countries.

The parties discussed prospects for deepened cooperation in the sphere of education, including with regard to the enhancement of the legal framework and the intensification of work within BRICS.

The officials commended the current level of interaction and expressed mutual commitment to further comprehensive development of bilateral ties in the field of education.

Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ethiopia, Evgeny Terekhin and other officials of the education sector were in attendance of the discussion held between the two sides.
