Ethiopia set to host the Special Olympics Africa Leadership Conference

Addis Ababa, September 15, 2023 (FBC) – Special Olympics Africa Region and Ethiopian Airlines have joined together to put on the 19th annual Africa Leadership Conference from September 18-20, 2023 in Addis Ababa, according to an official press release from Special Olympics.

The 3-day conference is set to take place for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic as Ethiopian Airlines Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Special Olympics to signify Ethiopian Airlines as the official carrier of the delegates attending the 2023 Africa Leadership Conference, it was learned.

The three-day conference will be held at the Ethiopian Airlines Skylight Hotel and will welcome more than 100 delegates from 36 participating countries.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend sessions on local program development, program governance and government relations where they will learn more about program data collection and analysis, marketing, communications and many other related topics, the official press release stated.
