Ethiopia, Somalia discuss ways to improve bilateral trade

Addis Ababa, July 3, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Kassahun Gofe, met and discussed with the newly appointed Somalia Ambassador to Ethiopia Ambassador Abdullahi warfa.

During their meeting the two sides have discussed on ways of improving bilateral trade between two countries which can promote economic growth and support regional integration especially on how to tackle illegal trade practices in our common border areas.

It is stated that the two sides during their discussion agreed to reinforce the chat export to Somali particularly Mogadishu.

“It has been remembered as we had discussions with Somalian Ministry of trade before couples of month on the same agenda” Kassahun Gofe has stated.
