Ethiopia, South Africa discuss implementation of strategic partnership agreement
Addis Ababa, June 11, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, held a discussion with Naledi Pandor, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa on Monday, 10th of May 2024.
The meeting of the two dignitaries was held on the margins of the BRICS Ministers of Foreign Affairs and International Relations meeting, which is taking place in Nizhny Novgorod, the Russian Federation from 10-11 June 2024
Their discussion mainly focused on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, they further exchanged views on how to implement the strategic partnership agreement.
On the sidelines of the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ gathering, FM Taye also held bilateral discussions with his Russian and Chinese counterparts on bilateral, regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
