Ethiopia, Tanzania to hold Joint Ministerial Committee Meeting

Addis Ababa, February 11, 2024 (FBC) – The newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie held discussions with Tanzanian counterpart, January Makamba on bilateral issues of mutual concern.

The two foreign ministers explored ways how to advance the bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Tanzania. They have also agreed to immediately hold a Tanzania-Ethiopia Joint Ministerial Committee meeting soon with a view to enhancing ties between their respective countries.

Ambassador Taye said: “We have agreed to further strengthen, give a new fresh breath and vitality to the bilateral relations of Ethiopia and Tanzania.”
