Ethiopia, Turkiye vow to take multifaceted relations a notch higher

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Mesganu Arga conferred with Türkiye’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Yaprak Alp, on bilateral and multilateral venues of cooperation on Monday afternoon.

He said Ethiopia and Türkiye should solidify ties in the areas of trade, investment, people-to-people ties and cultural relations.

The State Minister also conveyed a message of condolences from the People and Government of Ethiopia to the People and Government of Türkiye in light of the recent catastrophic earthquake.

Ambassador Alp, on her part, expressed the gratitude of her country to Ethiopia for standing beside the People and Government of Türkiye during this difficult time and vowed to take multifaceted Ethio-Turkiye relations a notch higher.
