Ethiopia, Uganda discuss regional issues of mutual concern

Addis Ababa, March 25, 2021 (FBC) –Ethiopian Ambassador to Uganda, Alemtsehay Meseret has held discussion with Jacob Oulanyah, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda.

They exchanged views on the diplomatic relations between the two countries and other regional issues of mutual concern, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Kampala.

The two sides also underscored the need to reinforce the parliamentary cooperation and people-to-people relations between the two countries, it added.

The ambassador briefed the Deputy Speaker on the latest development in the Tigray regional state, including restoration and humanitarian activities, unfettered access given for international media and humanitarian agencies.

She also gave an explanation on the current status of the border dispute with Sudan.
