Ethiopia, UK discuss economic reform

Addis Ababa, July 25, 2023 (FBC) – The Minister of State for Finance, Semereta Sewasew, met and discussed with Harriet Mathews, Director General for Africa and the Americas at UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

During the meeting the two sides have discussed UK’s support to Ethiopia’s economic and institutional reform.

The UK embassy in Ethiopia stated that the country is ready to work with Ethiopia to boost economic stability and growth.

“Thanks Semereta for a great discussion on economic reform, humanitarian challenges and how we can best support health and education here in Ethiopia” Harriet Mathews said after the discussion with Finance State Minister.
