Ethiopia unveils its first ever peace pole in the capital

Addis Ababa, September 08, 2022 (FBC) – On “National Peace Day”, September 08, 2022, Addis Ababa City Administration has unveiled the country’s first ever Peace Pole, a symbol of the hopes and dreams.

To mark Ethiopia’s annual ‘National Peace Day’, the peace pole was unveiled in the presence of FDRE President, Sahle-Work Zewde, Mayor of Addis Ababa City, Adanech Abẻbẻ, and Minister of Peace, Binalf Andualem.
