Ethiopia working to achieve technological transformation in all sectors – MoIT Minister

Addis Ababa, May 11, 2023 (FBC) – Minister of Innovation and Technology Belete Mola stated that Ethiopia is committed to introduce technological transformation in all sectors.

The African Agricultural Technology Foundation’s five-year strategy launch ceremony was held today in Addis Ababa.

In his remarks at the launching event, the Minister said that launching AATF’s five-year (2023-2027) strategy in Ethiopia has a special meaning.

He said that the strategy has a strong undertaking to ensure the growth and development of Africa through technology, disclosing that it has inspired the country to implement it and bring transformation to the citizens in Ethiopia.

The minister expressed his commitment to work in collaboration with the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research and the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF).

“In order to implement certain ideas in the field of technology, we need to show that Africa can invest in science, technology and innovation”, Belete added.
