Ethiopia, World Bank explore areas for potential collaboration

Addis Ababa, January 15, 2021 (FBC) –Minister of Innovation and Technology Dr Abraham Belay received Ousmane Dione, World Bank Country Director for Ethiopia, at his office today.

During the discussion, Dr Abraham appreciated World Bank’s interest to support digital space and other projects of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.

Ousmane Dione for his part said the World Bank will continue to strengthen its support to Ethiopia.

The two explored areas for potential collaboration to help Ethiopia reach its potential in the digital space and use technology to reduce poverty and expedite development.
