Ethiopian Air force ready to work in concert with African countries: Lt Gen Yilma
Addis Ababa, December 14, 2023 (FBC) – Commander of the Ethiopian Air Force. Lt Gen Yilma Merdasa stated that the Air Force is ready to work in collaboration with African countries.
The 1st Forum of the African Air Force Commanders is taking place in Bishoftu town in participation with African commanders, heads of aviation institutions and military attaches of several countries.
The 88th Anniversary of the founding of the Ethiopian Air Force is being celebrated with various events since 30 November 2023 at the national level.
Addressing the forum, Lt Gen Yilma stated that the Ethiopian Air Force has been providing capacity building trainings to African countries in areas of military aviation related areas.
Lt Gen Yilma reiterated the commitment of the Ethiopian Air Force to work together with African countries to transform the sector at the continental level.
The forum is focused on how to bring concerted solutions to the challenges facing the Air Force sector in Africa.
