Ethiopian Airlines celebrates inaugural flight connecting Lomé and Washington

Addis Ababa, June 3, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines held colorful celebrations in Lomé and Washington DC to mark its inaugural flight connecting the two cities.

The new flight increases the frequency of the airline’s flights bound for Washington DC to 10 per week, it is stated on the occasion.

Ethiopian Airlines on Wednesday announced the launch of flights from Addis Ababa via Togo Lome to Washington DC three times a week.

New flight would further strengthen the regional ties particularly through linking West African countries with the United States of America, CEO Mesfin Tasew said during the inaugural ceremony on Wednesday.
