Ethiopian Airlines Inaugurates New $155mil Expanded Skylight Hotel  

Addis Ababa, May 5, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines has inaugurated its luxurious expanded hotel complex today, which was constructed by the Airline’s Group.

It is stated that the new expanded hotel complex is the second Phase of the Grand Skylight Hotel, a flagship hotel project of Ethiopian airlines in Addis Ababa.

The inaugural ceremony is taking place in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, high government officials from house of people’s representatives, management from the Airline and government officials.

Group CEO of Ethiopian, Mesfin Tasew, on the occasion said that the news expanded Skylight Hotel rests on 11,500 sqm with 651 rooms.

He said the hotel has luxurious facilities including presidential and executive suites, restaurants and a conference and banquet hall, a modern underground parking accommodating over 400 vehicles.

The CEO indicated that the New Expanded Skylight Hotel is constructed with an outlay of $155mil.
