Ethiopian delegates pay a courtesy visit to Somalia PM

Addis Ababa, April 5, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian High-Level delegation led by Adem Farah, Vice President of Prosperity Party, along with Ambassador Mesganu Arga, State Minister of Foreign Affairs and other higher officials have met with Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Sheikh Adam Mohamed Nur Madoobe and Speaker of the House of People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, during the deliberations ways and means of enhancing security, trade and people-to-people relations between Ethiopia and Somalia were discussed.

It is to be recall that a high-level delegation of Ethiopia consisting of PP Vice President Adem Farah and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mesganu Arga is on a working visit to Somalia.

During their meeting, the delegates discussed various issues with High Government officials of Somalia on the bilateral and regional issues.

It was noted that the delegation presented the message sent by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
