Ethiopian delegation arrives in Istanbul to learn experience of trade zones

Addis Ababa, September 30, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation consisting of Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC), Maritime Transport and Logistics, and Customs Commission arrived in Istanbul to learn the experience of Turkish free trade zones.

A delegation led by the Deputy CEO of the Ethiopian Industrial Park Development Corporation Addisu Mamo Birru, visited the Istanbul and Izmir cities free trade zones.

During the visit, the Delegation met with the officials of World Turkish Business Council (DEIK) and gave a broad explanation about the attractive investment opportunities, the development of industrial parks and the recently inaugurated free trade zone in Ethiopia.

The officials of DEIK thanked the Ethiopian delegation for the explanation and vowed to inform the member companies of the organization about investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
