Ethiopian envoys to Republic of Korea, Pakistan receive awards

Addis Ababa, September 1, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassadors in Republic of Korea and Pakistan have received awards in recognition of their outstanding dedication endeavors in deepening closer ties among the three brotherly nations.

Ethiopian Ambassador to Republic of Korea, Dessie Dalkie received “2023 Best Ambassador Award” from the Korea Consumer Global Council “in recognition of his outstanding dedication and activities.

The award, given by the Korea Consumer Global Council, recognizes his dedication to fostering a comprehensive bilateral partnership that includes fostering investment, expanding academic exchanges, fostering trade exchange, and setting up forums for investment and culture exchange between the two friendly nations.

In his congratulatory remark during the Award ceremony, Ambassador Dessie Dalkie said that this award serves as an inspiration to intensify his efforts in fulfilling his duties as a representative of Ethiopia and its people in the Republic of Korea.

He emphasized that the award will make him more dedicated to further enhance the diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and the Republic of Korea, as well as to serve his motherland and the interests of the Ethiopian people.

The ambassador also added that he is dedicated to give his utmost effort to pursue his mission and achieve new milestones and achievements that benefit both Ethiopia and Republic of Korea, as well as their respective people.

Similarly, Pakistan’s National Peace and Justice Council (NPJC) awarded Ethiopian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Jemal Beker Abdula, with the esteemed National Peace Award.

In his remarks during the award ceremony, Ambassador Jemal expressed his gratitude to the Pakistani Government for recognizing his overall efforts in bringing the People of Ethiopia and Pakistan.

He also vowed to further strengthen the diplomatic relations between the two countries in the areas trade, investment, tourism as well as green diplomacy through Green Legacy.
