Ethiopian Meteorology Institute inks partnership accord with Chinese counterpart

Addis Ababa, May 31, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Meteorology Institute (EMI) and China Meteorological Administration (CMA) signed a joint working agreement.

On the sidelines of the 19th World Meteorological Organization Congress, the Director General of the Ethiopian Meteorology Institute, Fetene Teshome, discussed and agreed to work in cooperation with the officials of various counterparts.

According to EMI, the agreement was signed in the presence of the delegations of the Ethiopian Meteorology Institute and the Chinese Meteorological Administration.

It is said that both meteorological institutes have agreed to work in coordination in research, technology and knowledge transfer, exchange of experience and infrastructure.
