Ethiopian, UK investors discuss ways how to foster cooperation

Addis Ababa, June 7, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian and UK investors held discussion to explore ways how to forge cooperation based on mutual interests.

The meeting organized by the UK embassy in Ethiopia is tailored for building a bridge between investors of the two countries.

Addressing the participants, Ambassador of UK to Ethiopia and the African Union, Alastair McPhail highlighted significance of the meeting in promoting ties between the business communities based on the existing strong bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Alastair McPhail reiterated commitment of the UK to supporting the flourishing investment sector in Ethiopia, and promoting homegrown private companies in the country.

Joint ventures with UK investors and a search for market opportunities in the UK are among the areas prioritized topics in the meeting to enhance competence of Ethiopian businesses.
