Ethiopia’s Coronavirus deaths pass 700

Addis Ababa, August 26, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Coronavirus deaths reached 709 after 17 people have succumbed to the disease on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry confirmed 1,545 new cases yesterday out of 18,778 laboratory tests conducted in twenty four hours.

The new report increased the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 43,688, the ministry indicated.

Moreover, the number of recoveries has increased to 15,796 after 534 patients have recovered from the disease.

There are currently 27,181 active cases in Ethiopia of which 290 are in severe conditions.
