Ethiopia’s success is key to African Success: WBG president

Addis Ababa, June 19, 2020 (FBC) – President of World Bank Group David Malpass tweeted that Ethiopia’s Success is key to African Success.

Looking back on his phone conversation with Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed on recent World Bank financing approvals, David Malpass said that the Ethiopia and its neighbors sustain constructive dialogue and cooperation on water sharing.

Ethiopia and the World Bank yesterday signed a financing agreement amounting $ 250 million in support of supplemental financing to the second Ethiopia growth and competitiveness programmatic development policy financing.
