First Lady lays foundation stone to build High School in Ambo Woreda

Addis Ababa, February 9, 2021 (FBC) – First Lady Zinash Tayachew along with high ranking government officials has today laid a foundation stone in Oromia Region, West Shewa Zone, Ambo Woreda to build a secondary school.

The foundation stone has been laid at a special place called Eifa Boru which is the birthplace of the renowned poet and author, Laureate Tsegaye Gebremedhn.

According to First Lady Office, the high school to be built with an outlay of 14 Million Birr fund secured from sale of PM’s “Medemer” Book is expected to have adminitraion hall, laboratories, computer labs and liberaries in addition to classrooms.

President of Oromia Region, Shimelis Abdissa, Head of Oromia Education Bureau, Dr. Tolosa Beriso, among other dignitaries have attended the foundation stone laying Ceremony.
